The USGS Pennsylvania Water Science Center is a good place for all kinds of useful, obscure, and fascinating data about Pennsylvania's waterways. You'll find real-time water quality data for your river or stream, groundwater well quality, and even the water temperature for that Labor Day canoe trip along the Delaware River.
The EPA partners with communities in each of their regions to assess and improve urban waterways for recreation, health, and wildlife.
