Join the Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed (CDRW) for its 2nd annual Delaware River Watershed Forum in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 21-22, 2014. The CDRW event will build on the discussions that took place at last year’s first forum, held in Philadelphia, about key issues affecting the Delaware River Watershed.
The Coalition's mission is to unite organizations and enhance their capacity to advocate for protecting and restoring the Delaware River Basin. The Coalition provides opportunities for groups to network and share information, and helps coordinate communications and actions around shared interests. PennFuture is a steering committee member of the CDRW as part of its work on various watersheds and water quality issues throughout the state.
Tuesday, Oct. 21: Get an update on collaborative efforts underway and the momentum being generated across the watershed, visit sites that illustrate approaches for protecting and improving water quality, and join us for an evening reception where past meets present at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks.
Wednesday, Oct. 22: Hear public and private perspectives on opportunities and challenges in protecting and restoring water resources, and contribute your insights to ongoing discussions about issues of importance to all who work to secure the future of the watershed.
